Prepare For An Interview
Although the recession has officially been classed as over there are still many companies out there that are not jumping at the chance to hire someone and only really do so if they have too. This means that when opening up the doors to their serviced offices they are very picky on who they actually choose to hire. So what can you do if you are chosen for an all important interview?
Place of Work
Every business is being very careful about who they are hiring at the moment at this doesn’t matter if it is a supermarket or of course a top end company. I know for a fact that a couple of top supermarkets are barely hiring anyone at the moment because of competition. This means that when they are hiring someone they are looking for the best.
Questions
Make sure that you sit down the night before and really have a long hard think about some of the questions that you could ask. They are all important because they employer can see that you really are interested in the company and will know that you really want to work there. Something that was quite funny is that in my youth I was asked (by a supermarket) what competitors were out there. If you didn’t know that then you surely do not deserve the job.
Confidence
Although this is very hard to fake, especially when walking into a posh looking London serviced offices you have to act like you are confident. Often the jobs themselves do not require a lot of confidence but it is expected that you show off a bit of confidence at the interview. So the next time you have an interview in London conference venues make sure you follow these tips and you are sure to be successful in your interview.
